That's it. Block has overnight increased its earnings upgrade and given credit to Nick Molnar of Afterpay for a strong sales result, up 21% for the qtr and gross profit up 31%. Afterpay is strongly capitalised and has the support of Square and CashApp, whereas ZIP is short of capital and relies on standalone commerce through retailers. IMO ZIP will need to financially bulk up to have a shot at survival, it cannot stand still
