Sorry I misunderstood - I was interpreting the fintech thing to be the embrace of BNPL, which MME did get into along with Humm, Latitude and others, all of which suffered severe punishment and escaped. The retail car finance area is a really tough gig now - even Macquarie abruptly shut down its very large portfolio overnight a few months ago.......the large operators such as Macquarie and Esanda, Ford Credit, BMW Finance were prosecuted and either shut down or withdrew, which created an opportunity for the smaller businesses such as MME, AFS, Solvr, RACV Finance, etc, but although it could have been a gift to have a clear landscape without much competition, it seems that it is a very tough scene instead
