A very good 4Q24 update. All metrics trending in the right direction while NIM looks to have stabilised at 10%. I'm particularly pleased with loan originations of $165m for the quarter – a higher number than I was expecting.
Management have done a great job steadying the ship and correcting course. It may still take another couple of strong quarters to gain the confidence of the market, however, with that said, I'm firmer in my belief that MME remains undervalued.
The latest inflation data suggests that further interest rate rises appear unlikely, meanwhile macroeconomic conditions remain strong. This bodes well for MME being able to continue to grow the loan book.
