As a very recent holder of DXN, I'm impressed by the company raising capital via an entitlements issue available to all existing shareholders rather than the more common practice of an announcement of a private placement to institutional investors, etc., after the event. I am quite happy with the issue price of 5.5c, although I would not have been impressed by such a deep discount if it had been a private placement to outsiders. I wish more companies adopted a similar strategy.
