Yes exactly farmers all want improved soil health, reduce chem and fertilizer, have increased water resilience and above all better yields. So Regen methods are an educational process of improving the above with many smaller considerations such as rotational grazing and land management, but if a company hitches its wagon to this as though they are the only ones doing it and therefore deserve a consumer price premium, this is a false assumption and needs to be called out. Maybe evangelical is too strong a word but for this company to be pumping it so hard has attracted many investors that have been burnt and it will not recover on this thesis.
What is interesting is that a lot of the farms that provided produce to DCF, use chemicals to spray, fertilizer for yields, have poor soils but all say they are on a journey.
so spinning on regenerative farming only is not a seller because all farmers want to improve the above.
