A not particularly trustworthy source suggested the ASX chooses whether an announcement is price sensitive. Be easy to check but why bother? It gets the tick, it's market sensitive, end of story.
Is the release a big deal? Nope but it's warm fuzzy news and it tells us the Lynus ship is still floating and has been moving in the right direction. The announcement reaffirms the schedule. Production is expected to begin this quarter.
Lynus managed to raise sufficient funds to construct a metallurgically challenging metal refinery and they did it in a financial field filled with the wreckage of the GFC. No prizes for guessing which end of town this money came from. Retail investors can feel miffed about being left out but this company is on track to be possibly the highest producer of refined REE outside of China. I credit NC with that and if one consequence is that I get ignored then so be it.
