What I know about drilling you could carve on the edge of an Aspro with a crowbar but, I would think that drilling would be very slow now.

I do not know if the whole pipe has to be withdrawn from the hole in order to add to it to go deeper but, if it does have to be withdrawn, and if they are down 900 m, then that is a bloody lot of pipe to withdraw each time just to add to the depth and, it must take ages to do so.

I would think that the deeper they go the longer we are going to have to wait between news events.
