i appreciate your thoughts, and I ponder the irony of holding a losing position long term and holding a winning position short term. Yet, by holding this position I’ve potentially lost thousands. Even if I had of just parked this capital in a high interest bank account I would have had 100% ROI by now. Yet, this is the way trading can go. My trading these days is excellent, I consistently earn 15-20% on each trade I take.
I’d hate to see this tank again. I’d also hate to see what happened recently with another long term hold I had. I sold at an okay profit, then it tripled in price - that would have been almost been paying cash on a house.
a few years ago another hold I had finally had a run and I was able to get out with an ok profit, then the stock tanked. If I hadn’t of sold I’d still be sitting on my hands making no money.
