Sorry to unearth an old thread but the reason for the modest 20m or 25m spaced step out drilling is that these Tennant Ck style iron oxide copper gold deposits are high grade but very unpredictable in spatial distribution, strike length and plunge. You can make 'heroic' 50m or 100m step outs but will often get dusters because the ore lenses have changed direction or pinched out or been offset somehow.
