Estrella Resources Limited (ASX:ESR) has commenced the extraction of high grade nickel sulphide ore from its 100% owned 5A nickel mine located at Spargoville, Western Australia. The Company intends to extract between 2,000-4,000 tonnes of high grade nickel sulphide ore and transport it to Glencores Murrin Murrin HPAL processing plant via heavy haulage roadtrains. The entire process is expected to be completed over a few weeks and will inform a Definative Feasibilty Study for the mining of a much bigger resource located a great depths via the expansion of the open pit mine.
