This doesn't make much sense to be honest, GFN solves a lot of issues you are saying it causes?

I can nerd out here but will try to keep it layman....

Remote play is a different tech, routing of the data is indirect and causes a lot of latency. You also need the games installed for remote play. The low latency running off the servers here on GeForce Now is its use case. And PS4 remote player is the worst rated service of them all so don't understand the comparison. GFN has the lowest latency of all the cloud gaming offerings.

Agree that those who already have gigabit internet speeds (barely anyone here) and beefy gaming PCs aren't likely to see the appeal unless they're sick of spending money on upgrades or are away from home, but gaming newcomers or kids without thousands to spend or upgrade a rig would see GeForce Now as a more affordable alternative. It will also become a lot more relevant when there's the next cycle of new consoles and gaming chips and people question whether to invest in them or just get a subscription.
