I was scratching my head as to why he would get involved in a such a small cap. Failure would ruin his reputation and leave him unable to exit. However he must see a large opportunity in AV1 and is confident in not only the tech but senior management.
He has conducted significant due diligence I'm sure he knows the risk v reward here.
