On a hydro plant and in DRC; I’d throw a dart at; that their cost of power into the plant would only be around 5-7c per Kw; solar is good, but hydro is better . Considering the average cost per kWh in Oz is around 35c...well you can see the benefit; also any surplus power is fed into local communities / sold on

The last imagery update in that particular area we were debating on google earth is 25/6/15; where as Manono itself it quite current, at only 3 months ago.
