That's right. The way the MM8 announcement is titled, especially the summary title of this thread, is all but misleading.
FID (Final Investment Decision) won't be approved till after financing and that will most likely require a decent cap raising for MM8's equity part of capital and contingency costs of the project. project is capital light but not that so capital lite as to levitate.
I love the imprimatur of Lion Selection my long-time co-investor on a number of projects.
