Wow, you should work as a geo Jack - You clearly have skills... Analysing the Assays, working out how they fit in with previous drilling results, working out what the next steps will be, and then writing up you analysis for an announcement that works within the strict disclosure rules - yep, that's a 5 minute job. Why don't you give NES a call, you'll be able to teach them how its done.
Trading halt is not required unless you think there is a risk of the details becoming public before announcement. With a small team like NES, that is not likely.
