I don't think anyone is proved wrong or right based on intra-day movements. FA guys and girls can be right if they're positive over the medium term while TA guys and girls can be right if they're negative over the short term, based off the same announcement and same movement...
I respect guys who are good at TA because even when I do well with FA I seem to leave money on the table that better TA would have helped with...
