The implications from today's announcement is quite remarkable. Prior to the recent discoveries, the largest stone recovered upstream of MB-8 by Lucapa was 6.95ct and the grading for one of the bulk samples in that area (BLK_14) was 21.85cphm3 .

They will, no doubt, be test drilling L46, and two other kimberlites which I've highlighted in the past as additional likely sources of E46 diamonds, i.e. L18 and L19. Those two targets are upstream of the Xangando tributary which flows past E46 near the junction of the Cacuilo River. Moving further upstream of the Xangando tributary, there are 5 additional targets, L23, L25, PK23 and two other anomalies yet to be confirmed as kimberlites.

    Drilling can't come sooner!
