The Montney pipe dream predated Kevol/Blackspur by a few years. Blackspur was bought when CE1 was at death’s door, with no cashflow only the promise of the O&G equivalent of a 1980s timeshare on its books. Blackspur kept the lights turned on and current mgt in work, but didn’t stop the SP continuing to tank.
Time for mgt to sell this potato and ride into the sunset to join their ex colleagues, leaving us to pick over the carcass.
