Am thinking going it alone may also make us a better target for a future takeover. I.e if we find a commercial resource then a potential suitor will really only be negotiating with one party (Us)

Though the reverse could be true if a farm in partner is big enough organisation to swallow us at a later time?

I dare say that if was BP who offered us a farm in on the same terms as Cluff did the SP would have gone up not down purely due to their ability to make a future T/O attempt. (IMO)
