Whether 5G comes to our shores 2020, 2021 or even 2022, what cards will this force from TPG to significantly upgrade its own network and infrastructure that would by then only be a few years old? What would this mean for the ROI equation already discussed in some length in this thread? Or would the company instead opt to continue running on a 4G network. All this assumes the company can meet its own development timelines.
