What does 'disable' actually mean?
Did they crash and burn, get confused and fly in a different direction or drop their explosive device in the wrong spot?
The risk in soft kill drone defence is that new technology will enable drones to bypass this type of disable feature. Hence my reading indicates the latest thinking is old school and the only way to disable drones effectively is to take them down.
