The way forward is AI smart drones that can avoid jammers.
I am not sure a kitchen table made drone could do that.
They are good a for a quick-hook up to an explosive device and send over the enemy line and drop on soldiers. (swarms)
I expect they wouldn't travel far or fast and jammers would manage them anyway.
Counter-Drone technology should make be able to identify the hand-held controller and make it go back and detonate the explosive at the source.
If I have thought it, I am sure it's been discussed.
Essentially, The AI drones are trying to avoid the jammers by changing frequency's etc.
From my research and understanding, I am led to believe DRONESHIELD are an AI counter-drone company, and their technology is one of the lmarket leaders at the forefront of this sort of development.
My rough understanding (happy to be corrected)
