It is true that the company that I am a director of is not listed. It is not listed because there are huge costs associated with being listed and the owners have a fiduciary responsibility to shareholders who have voting rights (though DRO does not seem to take that at all seriously) which is sometimes inconvenient. Though, the most important consideration in not selling our own shares, is that once the IP is developed and manufacturing set up and profitable, these companies require very new little capital. As a result, our shareholders (includes myself) have decided not to dilute our profits by selling shares to third parties who offer nothing in terms of developing the business.

If I was an owner a company where a director spent an inordinate amount of time on social media in worktime he/she/it would be terminated.
