Then you don't know much about being a director in a company. My CEO is looking after the running of the company - that's his job, not mine. I doubt I'll be sacked either since I am both shareholder and director. Actually, I was asked (and refused) the role of CFO. If you know anything about company management you might be able to see why they would want me in that position. But it is not necessary, as the CEO is a major shareholder and puts the company's interests first, since they are aligned with his personal interests.
