it's not about downramping, it is about balancing the view.

Average stone size is 1.6crt... which yes is a good average... but at the same time, if they are pulling big stones like this 74crt... then how small must the others be to get that average?

They are saying that the number of specials is 14 since September 28... that is 14 stones in 20 days (0.7 stones a day)... not 1 a day like some are claiming it would be by now. And even then, the Average Special stone size is 27.59 crt (based off this latest 14), So it is not like they are pulling out a 70+crt monster every 2 days.

That stone shown in the ANN, yes it is big, but it still has a number of inclusions in it, so don't expect a Flawless price for it.


So yes let's all agree that this is a Nice big stone, and the more of these the better! Hopefully the closer the pitting gets to L259, hopefully the more of these they will find (rough faced like this appears to be).

BUT, I honestly still feel this is another ANN to prop to be sold into, and as such I personally will continue to wait (but remember I am hedged with LOMO).
