Essentially all crosstrades on the ASX occur when Buyer 1 and Seller 1 are both clients of Broker 1. Odds are that some of your own trades have been XT if you use a popular broker.
Instead of sending the bid and offer data to the ASX, broker 1 has permission to simply execute the trade themselves at the market rate. This saves on transaction time and frees up standard cross broker processing pipelines.
