Combined, the data from QEMSCAN and LA-ICP-MS showed that spodumene:
1. is the dominant Li-bearing mineral detected, making up about 15% by mass of the wholeof-ore samples (Figure 5);
2. hosts approximately 95% of the total lithium content in each sample (Figure 6); and
3. has low iron content of 0.13% Fe (LA-ISP-MS).
