Hi prawn_man, was checking out a diagram from CHN when I noticed a number of horse-tails. It appears they may be using similar methodology as one of their targets is located at the horse-tail. Obviously ore bodies can also form all the way along the fault lines. I can see the reasoning, the Fosterville discovery (about 9M oz) and the one at the Mt William fault form at the hose-tails. And the major ore body of Bendigo (about 22M oz) forms just after the horse-tail between the Whitelaw and Sebastian faults. The locations of these ore bodies seem to fit with the concept of hydrothermal fluids being trapped and concentrated at these points of differential pressures then continuing along the fault lines.
