The company will have to allow for a certain discounts for the treatment (if successful) when compared to other treatments given in normal economic circumstances.
To think otherwise is very naive.
We have seen similar things spoken by other companies about already with the possible future vaccines...
No point having a treatment that can save the world then charging an extortionate amount of money so only the very wealthy countries can afford it.
Remember the scale is huge...
The Brand building potential is huge....
There is a happy medium to be found and I fully expect Si a man of great integrity to be both business savvy and ethical..
Being a Horrible greedy company holding the world ransom would be a massive mistake IMO.
