Thank you for pointing this out..This is what people fail to understand!
There are reasons they cannot always have a double blinded, control group studies i.e. the ethical reasons for letting someone died because they would be part of a group that would receive "no treatment" or "standard treatment". As long as you can find other ways to reinforce your study and the results it finds (without being bais or compromising said results, it is still a valid finding.
Not everything is black and white people! Stop acting holy than thou because you think you understand medical clinical trails better than others, which turns other that they obviously don't.
