Yes the Tesla competition are already well advanced and in many cases selling their first EV offerings. These will rapidly improve and diversify, its a EV future and its coming quickly.
Once a disruptive technology becomes not only better but cheap enough it takes hold quite quickly (think Colour TVs, Microwave Ovens and Smartphones)
