Allens .... sounds logical but consider this! You have a magnetic/radiometric target some 3 to 5 km in diameter. It is stand out and highly suggestive that there is an intrusive body there and it is an area that the GA/NTGS have identified as priority territory for IOCG type ore deposits. Now you have done NO ground mapping, soil/rock sampling to firstly determine whether this target is geochemically anomalous and to further refine (narrow down) the size of the target.

So you have a drill rod with a diameter of 7-10 cm and a undefined target zone of 3-5 km diameter. Where are you going to put the drill hole?? It is like saying on a 36 hole golf course (roughly same size) that you are going to find a target - the size of just one of the 36 holes you have to "putt out" on. That is why, same as at Riqueza, we need to do all the logical geology exploration, and in the correct sequence, so that when we do decide to drill, you are only having to make a decision as to where the hole on one of the greens is rather than on all 36 of them, including the fairways.

I know the golfing analogy is not great but it does give you a sense of the scale of these beasts and the need to carefully narrow down the best spot to drill. At a drill hole cost of some $25,000 for just a 200 m hole, you don't want to get it wrong.
