I do not understand the number of people on this thread comparing CXO to PLS. The CR is under completely different circumstances (to buy a bankrupt mine) and at a completely different timeline (when Li price was starting to take off) and in stable times - there is no comparison, if you think the SP will be $3 by xmas you are dreaming - we are nearing global recession, there is a war going on that if nothing else is affecting energy and food and fueling inflation. Our dollar is dropping as the US has endless rate hikes (yes, you sell Li in USD but a lower AUD will increase inflation and put more pressure on RBA to have further interest rate hikes to protect the AUD -all this means, drop in SP - check out your SP at the moment compared to few weeks ago and our dollar is lower). Li demand is huge and miners having trouble keeping up but in a recession a lot of this demand will go down (I was planning to upgrade my EV but have put plans on hold). As time goes on, more mines will come online and whilst there will be a Li shortage, we will no longer have the record prices we are seeing at the moment. I don't want to dampen enthusiasm, there are a few good Li stocks on the ASX and this is one of them but I like to apply a little realism.
