They know what is required but just won't take their medicine. Just imagine re-Electing Andrews when they knew full well what he did during the COVID lockdowns and with their finances.
I ran into someone from Melbourne in Tokyo. He seemed to be of the idea that WA should provide free money to Melbourne. I pointed out Andrews's behaviour.
It's like Kerry Packer said (to paraphrase) when asked why he minimised his tax. He said if someone saw what they did with it they'ed have to have "rocks in their head" not to do so.
