    Hi John,

The interesting thing to me is the multitude of porphyry "centres", as they call them, at Kharmagtai.

A good number of holes have shown several hundred metres of good grade from surface but disappointed at depth, often still mineralised but at marginal grades. Good intercepts from surface and then at 400 - 600 metres, just when you would expect to be getting into the feeder, they go into barren rock.

The geology is of course more complicated than my rough synopsis, with at least one large well mineralised breccia which has been stepped out at depth, but the current thinking seems to be that the original porphyry mineralisation extends horizontally rather than the classical vertical model, for whatever reason.

If Xanadu is correct and the "Southern Lobe" they have just drilled continues to the south at depth, the assays for the final 200 m or so of one of the current drill hole will be very informative. These assays are due out any day now.
