If I knew the company I worked for was going to be driving the workload up, then I'd be expecting a wage increase to somewhat reflect that increase as well.
Can't discount the fact that the shareholders are sitting 400-500% in the green in the last couple of months alone (based off 17.5 cent SP). Management should be rewarded for this brilliant return, let alone the workload that they are going to continue to put themselves through in the foreseeable future.
Shareholders certainly not getting screwed by NVA one bit.
