agree.
China will be stockpiling and manipulating the market via lithium technology production, supply & pricing. As usual, but nothing other nations haven’t done, plan to do, or wish they could.
Ford US is already struggling with EVs. Demand is still better for hybrids & Ford claim they’ll take a big hit on projected EV uptake. Meanwhile Chinese EV production & uptake is good - passing 50% of total sales.
Australia is flat at around 6-7% of new sales. Plus our grid is not ready for any huge EV uptake. Given our short, contrary political cycles, it may never be. As usual, we are slow & late to any party.
