As Fact Finder explained in post
'The AKD1000 IP was released to selected customers mid 2019 and feedback was received.
Brainchip produced an FPGA AKD1000 in about February 2020 for internal testing and design purposes.
In about March 2020 the design was handed off to Socionext for final design work before being sent to TSMC for production.
The engineering samples of the AKD1000 were received back from TSMC via Socionext in late August tested and installed on Boards and released to Early Access customers Ford, Valeo, NASA, Renesas and others October 2020.
These early access customers provided feedback and certain design changes were made and the commercial AKD1000 was released around October, 2021.
AKD1500 was released first quarter 2023. '
It would be great if Fact Finder could write up and post the same info for akida 2.
