I am surprised there is not more institutional support for the share price during this period in order to encourage shareholders to take up the shares on the CR, since the underwriters will presumably be picking up the shortfall if that doesn't happen.
Perhaps ( and I'm only wildly speculating here) there is some orchestration (by someone/some entity) generating a market traded price at less than the CR price to discourage holders from taking up their CR entitlements.
That way the underwriters pick up more and the small guys are even further diluted.
If after the CR is complete, the share price heads back up, then I will become very suspicious.
Buying now at the discount to the CR price seems to make some sense.
