Can never understand these placements other than to feed the rich. The whole point of a sharemarket is to have access to investors who can fund as needed. They just wiped about $4m off their market cap. About the same amount as riased, so its $8m of lost value.
It should not be hard to do a simple rights issue and give us the 25% discount. SPPs are a waste of time as people sell to buy at the cheaper price. But a rights issue won't shift the share price.
I have already placed an order to sell. These companies don't deserve loyal investors.
