You need to read the JORC statements, and also read this history of bulk sampling completed by the former owner(s).
Simply put, the current area we're operating in has historically been a higher average $/c zone of the JORC. Diamond sales from each part of the kimberlite, are part of the original JORC works, something LOM management would have picked through prior to bidding on the project.
