I might have missed something, but I couldn't find any recent discounted placement not offered to retail ... only one .40c one at a 3% premium on the last close. Bank of Nova Scotia bought their shares there was no placement announcement.
My guess is this offer will look like a discount with hindsight ... agree with Honkie on the recent trading .. but I am curious to see if there is any announcement tomorrow ... there is still time for it to look like a discount in the bag.
