hey Craven, very much appreciate the reply, as with most companies and assets, once I start reading... down the rabbit hole I go!

Whilst I am not a Geo, I can see there are some clear similarities between Never Never and Kim (guess they were not overly excited by 'Kim' at the start naming wise! Sorry to all the Kims!). Plus.... as I kept reading it's not just the geology and ore body similarities, but even the processing plant throughput etc.

For those interested and have a lazy arvo....

I mean... even the plants are beside their high grade mines.

For context, goldfields acquired Agnew in 2001, and is still mining under the main pit over 20 years later.... (though I admit it's tricky to work out exactly where all the ounces come from to fill Agnew's pit). But back in 2009, Kim had approx 1.2m ounces in MRE (and in 2021 they were still undertaking extensional drilling at the Kim lode).

Though in saying that, it would seem from the 2023 annual report, that perhaps Agnew is nearing the end of its amazing history.... (mine plan implies 2027 will be its last year). Purely because I can... I wonder if Goldfields is looking over the 'fence' at SPR which is hopefully proving up a new Gold camp that perhaps one day rival Agnew (or Mt Magnet for that matter, as postulated by SL a while back).

We will see about RMS and pragmatism. Though I do agree, they are definitely in acquisition mode.
I have to ask (but would prefer to head over the WGX threads), why you think RMS dodged a bullet with Karora?

On a final note, just because I like history and... also recognise how sad an event this was....

Much respect to all those working in the mines.

    Good luck to all holders.
