I guess no research & development guarantees results or income but is necessary for businesses in most fields, probably more so the medical. It's great we could secure a deal with Canntab should it be materialised but probably equally important we invest in our own innovations for long term stability & market positioning. The funding is for 3 years but how long are we privileged to any advances discovered from our 3 million is of interest. Could be money well spent & a long term investment? All comes down to cash flow for me, strong cash flow = positive announcement & weak cash flow forcasts signals a premature investment that may have needed to be considered from a stronger financial position. I remain confident QBL are well aware of their current capacity & have invested in line with current sales & future projections.
