at this stage divi yield would be around 3%. I really doubt many will chase it. So, to get reasonable yield price would’ve to be halved from now. Do you want that? Plus, paying 3% in divi this year will only be good for this year when buying back 3% shares (and theoretically appreciate price by 3%) will effect this year and all following years. Which means they will have better yield with the same money when they start paying dividends
