Synlait is responsible for obtaining the approval on behalf of A2M.
NZ Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) conducts the audit on behalf of the Chinese SAMR.
The process has been going for at least 18 months and as far as I'm aware, Synlait has done everything they are meant to do and according to schedule. The delays have been on the Chinese side and in part due to the COVID lockdowns. I am sure there is also some priority given to domestic producers in the queue also.
