Good news.
Aug 2 FDA amendment says if you received FDA exemption approval by Nov 22, this exemption to import formula will remain indefinitely.
I suspect this was one of the conditions A2 placed on their participation in US market i.e they wanted a permanent exemption for them to divert resources and build an infant formula business in the US to complement their existing liquid milk business.
Another issue that will arise is whether New Zealand made a2 platinum also receives tariff assistance like BUBS did, as governed by the USNZ FTA.
I suspect we are 24-48 hours away from a formal approval.
