The overarching play here is that if you don't at least give these companies some crumbs as back up supply to the US market on an ongoing basis, if there is a reoccurrence of US production issues in the future, these companies will be less inclined to assist with any shortages. And frankly that's something they can't risk. So price will grind like it has with BUB's but it's an inevitable not a high risk optionality.
