Just get it sorted and move on I say, which it 'appears' they are doing. What I would like to see though moving forward is better capital management as at this stage A2M aren't (obviously) looking to takeover Synlait and only $32.8 million is being relinquished from the almost $1 billion in the bank for this CR.
IMHO A2M could easily undertake a share buyback of $250 million now, which would still leave themselves a war chest of circa $700 million - how much do they actually need in the bank if they aren't going to undertake any major M & A activities they have touted for a number of years ? Maybe they have the funds earmarked for something else but if so again get on with it now that Synlait seems to be sorted out ?
