Up until now all metal AM companies have been limited to print at single layer at a time which has obviously limited the speeds at which they all can print. However, these companies all have extensive connections to industry making them a whole lot easier to scale - much more quicker than Aurora can ever do.
What are your thoughts on the licencing / royalty / OEM model? How do you see this playing out?
Once the printing development is complete, could we see Aurora focus on a very specific metal like aluminium, which isn’t widely used, whereas other common metals like stainless steel is left for existing AM companies who already dominate this area?
